Music collaborations

The Man on the moon photographic archive is an invaluable resource and inspiration for creative artists of all genres, not least musicians.

To date, the archive has been used extensively by a number of performing artists, including the international top-selling band Erasure as projected stage visuals for their 2008 world tour and elements of their particpation in Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors tour of the United States in 2007.

We are also now collaborating with leading Italian composer Leonardo di Lorenzo on a new son et lumiere production to accompany his latest work, “Dream of an Astronaut”, the first compostion commissioned by the chamber music seminary at Caltech, home to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and first performed to coincide with the launch of the space shuttle Atlantis.

If you would like to learn more about working with us on a new musical collaboration, please contact us now - we’re always open to new ideas!
